Why Dave Started Legacy
Dave Pruitt didn’t set out to run a trucking school. Early in life he found himself on the wrong end of things, and trucking became his own way forward. That’s why Legacy exists — built by someone who needed a second chance and found one behind the wheel.
Dave still drives trucks himself while running Legacy and personally trains students alongside his instructors. He shares his own story with every student who enrolls — not as a footnote, but because it’s the reason this school exists.
Today Dave leads a team of instructors with 75 years of combined transportation experience. Legacy is licensed by the Mississippi CPSCR and FMCSA ELDT-compliant.
